The tour was absolutely FANTASTIC!
As future buyers/residents of Belize, we could not have asked for a better, more extensive tour. Everyone on our tour was looking for their own version of paradise and Belize Paradise Tours checked every box. Some wanted rural living, check! Others, a laid back lifestyle, check! Houses, condos, land, secluded, social, mountains, beach, island, you name it, we saw it. Before we departed for Belize, we thought we had decided on a particular location (thanks Internet), then at the half-way point, we found a new area we adored, but when we reached the last city on the tour, we knew it was for us. That was due, in part, to the previous tour attendees who were now Belize residents. Bobbie arranged a meeting for all of us to sit down with ex-Pats to answer our questions about relocating, culture, importing, daily life, and every Belize-related topic you can imagine. Bobbie also introduced us to a wonderful group of professionals, many of whom we intend to work with toward our Belize dream. Accommodations were delightful. Each hotel was comfortable, clean and perfectly located for our needs. Bobbie was incredibly organized, so check-in/check-out was done with ease. In-country flights were super quick – boarding, in-flights and deplaning were problem-free. Ground transportation was a bit challenging at times, but we arrived at each destination safely and that’s what is important. No trip is without occasional hiccups. Bobbie handled every problem that came along quickly and with a smile. She is an amazing, multi-nation problem solver! She went the extra mile every single day. Bobbie shared an enormous wealth of information about every location we visited.
We visited wonderful places to eat & have a good time. She negotiated great rates for cart rental, snorkeling, tours, etc. Her insight, knowledge, and perspective were invaluable. It is because of her that we are so confident in our decision to move to Belize. Taking this tour convinced us that our dream of early retirement is indeed possible, and we hope to make it happen soon.

Doing research and reading are a great way to begin learning about Belize, but that can only give you a partial picture of the country. You must go and actually experience the different parts of the country to make the best decision about moving to Belize. Bobbi’s tour is the perfect way to do this. Getting to see the various parts of the country, meeting with ex-pats and learning from experts (bankers, lawyers, etc.) was incredibly helpful. The tour was well organized and our host Ray did everything possible to meet our needs and make this a great experience. If you are a single person and concerned about going alone, don’t be. You will be very comfortable on this tour. Nice accommodations, good food and great company. Great experience!
This review is a long time coming, my wife and I traveled with Belize Paradise Tours on a 10-day Expat tour where we toured Cayo, Corizal Districts, Ambergris Cayes, Caye Caulker, and Plascencia in February 2019. As part of the tour we met various officials from the Government, Tourism, legal, as well as local expats. In each of the areas we toured various properties and homes for sale or lease. Needless to say, it was a busy tour, but don’t be fooled, there’s plenty of time for rest and relaxation, you’re in paradise how couldn’t you. Some of the touring group branched off to snorkel, scuba, fish, cave tube, and tour the Belize Zoo just to mention a few things we did for fun. The tour was well worth the cost. Bobbi I’d say is an expert on Belize. By going on the tour, I feel we would’ve had to return numerous times to get the information we attained in the 10-days. We’re headed back March 2020 and I’ve gained a new level of respect for Bobbi. Coordinating a multiple district tour to find property is quite time consuming and stressful. If it wasn’t for Bobbi’s assistance and familiarity of Belize it could’ve been worse. If Belize is in your future either to vacation or a place to live I highly recommend the 7 or better yet the 10-day tour. A solid five star(fish) out of five! Thank you, Bobbi, for everything.

We took Bobbi’s eight day tour in February 2017 and had a fabulous time! Not only did we get to see multiple areas of the country but met some great people along the way. She brought in speakers from real estate agents, bankers, lawyers and current residents of the country to share their experiences with living in Belize. This is not a real estate sales trip. She is not selling anything including Belize. This is a wonderful way to learn about the country and see it for yourself. She does all the arrangements to make sure you have a safe and comfortable trip. I highly recommend taking this tour if you are interested in living in Belize or just want to have a great time in the tropics!
My wife and I had been talking about visiting Belize for several years and finally decided to piggyback a trip there after attending an International Living conference in Cancun, Mexico. The three day conference was scheduled for early December, 2019 and the next Belize Paradise Tour was to begin the day after the conference ended, so the timing was perfect. So was the Belize Paradise tour. Bobbi, our guide (and owner) was amazing. All of our accommodations, meals, transportation, meetings with ex-pats, bankers, medical professionals, attorneys, and locals were top of the line. There were opportunities for us to experience other cultural activities, in addition to the destinations Bobbi had selected, if we chose to do so. The different regions of Belize that Bobbi took us to gave our group a solid picture of the diversity of the country and the opportunities that were available to anyone looking for a winter haven or even a permanent re-location move. It’s a beautiful country with perfect weather and a “less stress” environment. We will definitely be returning to Belize and we give high praise to Bobbi for her professionalism, expertise, and passion for showing us the paradise that is BELIZE.

Cindy and I had done a lot of research and reading to prepare for our trip to Belize. Bobbi was a fabulous guide, balancing our interests with those of others in our group as well as balancing our scheduled and free times. Our Corozal van driver was terrific, providing us with his views on a wide range of local issues and customs (colorfully and with perhaps a bit of exaggeration!). Most helpful were our visits with expats who have settled in Belize, who shared their experience and answered many of our questions.
The tour provided us with a very good feel for Belize, the people, the food, the culture, and the variety of potential places to rent or buy. Plus we had a lot of fun!! We would highly recommend Belize Paradise Tours to anyone who wants to explore the option of moving to or investing in Belize.

I went on the tour in October 2016. I had done a lot of research on Belize so I had no great surprises, but I did get a great feel for the country. San Pedro was beautiful but a little too busy for me I really liked Corozol but I really wanted to be near a beach. Placencia was perfect I originally thought that I would come here for 6 months to be sure it would be ok but after a couple of months back in Florida I decided to sell everything and move to Placencia. So on April 14 2017[Good Friday] I got on the plane and I love it! The tour gave me the confidence to take the big step and move here. Bobbi made it so easy to see the country. The seminars gave good information and reinforced what I had researched about Belize. If you are curious about Belize or maybe just want a great vacation you cannot beat Bobbi’s tour. The accommodations are all top of the line resorts everything is taken care of- rooms, flights, cabs, tours of potential places to buy or rent with no pressure It was a great time and if I didn’t already live here I would go on it again. Thank you Bobbi for helping me change my life.

If you’re interested in seeing Belize this is the trip for you! We just returned from a ten day tour with Belize Paradise Tours. All you need to do is get there/ Bobbi organizes the tour and takes care of all van, boat and flight transfers, hotel rooms, and other special activities such as snorkeling, massages on the beach, visits to the zoo and Mayan ruins. She lined up short seminars covering insurance, QRP program, immigration, attorney and bankers. In addition, she arranged for the group to see various properties in San Pedro, Corozal, and Placencia, which included short and long term rentals as well as properties to buy. There wasn’t any pressure to commit! It simply was to show you around the area and to get a feel for it. If seeing properties doesn’t interest you, then you are free to spend the day on your own to explore. The tour ran smoothly and efficiently. Bobbi was not able to accompany us on the tour, but had her assistant, Ray, escort the group. At first, I was a bit skeptical about her not being there, as all of my correspondence had been with her for months. She assured me that Ray was wonderful and had guided other tours for her. Ray was indeed wonderful! He was kind, compassionate and funny and made sure everyone’s needs were taken care of. He continually checked on arrangements during the entire time to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible and it did! We had never been on a group tour for a vacation and thoroughly enjoyed this one! The weather and food while we were there was a 10! We never had a bad meal anywhere. Everyone was friendly and helpful. English is the language so absolutely no barriers when communicating. My only advice would be that if you have mobility issues this might not be the trip for you The vans nor the commuter planes are wheel chair/handicap accessible.

Joyce and I took the 11-day tour Sept. 30 – Oct. 11, 2017. Bobbi is, hands down, the best tour operator I have ever encountered, and I have been traveling internationally since 1979. Four days before departure I was told by a doctor that I needed to stop putting any weight on my right foot for a period of months, but I was unwilling to cancel plans for the tour. Bobbi bent over backwards to accommodate me in every possible way throughout the tour, arranging wheelchairs, ramps, hotel rooms closest to the restaurant, alternate schedules, and innumerable other considerations, and she checked on me constantly to be sure I was getting everything I needed. During the middle of the trip she refunded what I had paid for excursions I could no longer participate in, and still made sure I got all the information I possibly could to inform our decision of whether to retire to Belize. I came home feeling very well informed about all the major areas that attract ex-patriots (Belize City, San Pedro, Corazal, Consejo Shores, Placencia, San Ignacio, Spanish Lookout), albeit sad that I couldn’t join the rest of the group for ziplining, cave tubing, snorkeling, the iguana conservatory, the zoo, etc. We met with lovely expats in each major area who were more than happy to share their experiences and answer all our questions. We had professional presentations that covered banking, immigration, the Qualified Retired Persons program, real estate, taxes, healthcare and others. Bobbi put us in the best hotels with excellent restaurants, and also made sure we had opportunities to branch out and get acquainted with local cuisine. I cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience, and I recommend Belize Paradise Tours unreservedly for anyone considering moving to Belize.

I found the trip to Belize arranged by Belize Paradise to be an
excellent overview of the country, culture, their legal and economic
system and the real estate market. There were informative speakers,
tours and explanations of the country which I would not been able to
ferret out on my own. Finally, we sampled real estate all over the
country but at no time did I feel pressured to buy anything. Instead,
the main thrust of the tour was educational.

This tour is the most cost effective way to see key ex-pat areas of the country in a no sales pressure environment. What really makes this all work so well is the tour operator Bobbi, who I cannot say enough good things about. All you have to do is book your tour package with her and get yourself to Belize and bring a little money along for meals. She takes care of everything from that point on, your hotels, interim airfare while in the country and ground transportation. She organizes all the presentations and sets up groups to go out with real estate agents to see properties. Her commitment to her clients is amazing, I suffer from severe pain in my right hip. After a rather long day of travel and then looking at properties and going up and down condo stairs many times, we finally finished for the day and got to the motel to check into our rooms. Without me ever saying a word, she asked the reservationist which people were on what floor, when the lady indicated that I was on the second floor, Bobbi immediately told her to give me her room on the first floor, close to the lobby and she took my second floor room. That gesture told me more about the type of person she is then all the other things I mentioned that she did above.

I recently spent over a week in Belize with Bobbi leading our group. There were about 10 of us. Bobbi was extremely helpful and caring right from the first email, throughout the whole tour and even post trip. She got back promptly about any issue or question, showed genuine concern for each of us and ensured our needs were taken care of, accommodating even unusual requests where possible. Bobbi tried to provide variety in the tours and set us up separately with helpful individuals if the interest was there, and modified the tour as needed, due to the interest of the specific group. For instance, a short trip to Mexico was not on the agenda but she made it happen. When we were charged an unexpected fee at the border, she ensured our money was returned AND treated us to a meal in compensation. We ate out together a few times as a group and had fun chatting and getting to know each other and we loved Bobbi’s sense of humor and facilitation. Although our group was quite diverse, we shared a common goal of learning more about Belize. Bobbi’s sole purpose was to ensure we all maximized our opportunity to do this. When I had to change my accommodation and flight arrangements for the last two days before exiting the country, she quickly and efficiently organized the arrangements in Belize City and helped find a tour guide to the Mayan ruins and to see more of the Cayo District.I heartily endorse Bobbi’s tour. For anyone possibly interested in Belize, I can’t think of a better introduction to the country than through Belize Paradise Tours

Bobbi’s Belize Paradise Tours can’t be beat! She makes things happen, rain or shine. We appreciated the opportunities to visit with real estate, banking, medical and government professionals in each area. The flexibility of everyone being able to do their own thing along the way created special memories. Would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Bobbi.

I took Bobbi’s tour this past December and it was fantastic!! Very well organized and run. All accommodations were good and the food was great. The tour is definitely geared to introduce you to Belize and provide you with all the information and connections a person would require should they decide to take the plunge and move to Belize. Everyone we were introduced to, be it the lawyer, the banker, the realtors or our Belizean tour guide, all were just so pleasant and informative. Never once did I ever feel pressured by anyone. I had a wonderful 7 days, met some great people, made some new lifelong friends and, in my case, decided to build a new life in Belize!! I will always be grateful that I took this tour with Bobbi from Belize Paradise Tours!!

When I first saw the advertisement for Belize Paradise Tours I was both excited and skeptical. Having been to Belize once before, my wife and I knew we wanted to go again and we wanted to see more of the country. We wanted the opportunity to see if there were places we would want to live part-time after retirement. So I sent an email to Belize Paradise and started communicating with Bobbi (owner and operator). Bobbi was able to answer all of our questions to our satisfaction and made us feel comfortable booking a tour package. The tour was one of the best package deals we have been on. On the tour we saw at least 5-6 areas of Belize that we would consider living in. We stayed in both high end resorts and very simple accommodations. We also had a great group of people who attended the tour. After participating in this tour, my wife and I decided to purchase a condo and plan on living in Belize 6 months a year after retirement. I would highly recommend Belize Paradise Tours for a cost efficient, stress free, informational, and fun method of researching or just visiting Belize.
